Matthew Collins
Chief Executive Officer
Matt Collins is a Co-Founder of Cignyl and serves as the Chief Executive Officer. Matt brings over 25 years of industry experience. He has held various Compliance, Operational Excellence, and Quality Leadership positions within the medical device and pharmaceutical industries with Abbott Laboratories, Fresenius Medical Care, and Integra Lifesciences.
Matt is a proven leader with a track record for building consistent and reliable outcomes. Matt has driven critical turnarounds for complex situations such as warning letters, consent decree, international regulatory problems, implementation of global systems, network optimizations, and mature business situations.
Matt holds a Doctorate in Business Administration with an emphasis in Healthcare and Leadership from California Intercontinental University, an MBA from Marquette University, and a BS Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin Parkside.
John Giantsidis
Chief Operating Officer
John Giantsidis is a Co-Founder of Cignyl and he brings over 22 years of industry experience and a deep understanding of the rapid development and constantly changing landscape of our industry. He held various Compliance, Digital Quality Systems, Data Governance, and Software Integration roles with Integra LifeSciences, Fresenius Medical Care, and Bristol-Myers Squibb. Currently, he is the President of CyberActa, a boutique consulting firm enabling privacy and security in digital health.
John is a leader on topics including medical device cybersecurity, digital ecosystem management, and data governance. John is a member of the US Marine Corps Cyber Aux, a small cadre of highly-talented cyber experts who train, educate, advise, and mentor Marines to keep pace with cyber challenges.
John holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Clark University, a Juris Doctor degree from the University of New Hampshire School of Law and a Master of Engineering in Cybersecurity Policy and Compliance from The George Washington University.
James Neuburger
Chief Technology Officer
Jim Neuburger is a Co-Founder of Cignyl and serves as its Chief Technology Officer. Jim has over 30 years’ experience in technology operations, engineering development, and business-critical analytics in the medical device and chemical industries. He held various management and technology positions of increasing responsibility with Integra LifeSciences, General Mills, and the DIC Corporation.
Jim fosters value creation by leveraging the power of data to uncover hidden relationships from vast troves of data, generating insights, and informing decision making through data utilization, envisioning data-enabled strategies as well as enabling all forms of business outcomes through technical leadership in business technology and intelligence.
Jim served 8 years in the U.S. Armed Forces achieving the rank of corporal before completing his undergraduate studies from Miami (OH) University. Jim emerged himself in postgraduate studies in Software Engineering Technology at the University of Cincinnati and The Georgia Institute of Technology in Analytics.
